“Upon being asked by Patti Vidalin, we would like to share our experience with you leading to the purchase of the most beautiful dog in the world who we call Bella! When we first met Patti in her home it was obvious that she was knowledgable and very particular in the care of her poodles. They all seemed healthy, friendly and well adjusted. The love for them was very apparent! Over the previous 30 years we have owned two high strung, neurotic, medically challenged poodles and swore never again! We have now had Bella for seven months and she has renewed our faith in the breed. Thanks to Patti we now have a healthy, calm, confident, intelligent, loving companion, need we say more. We feel confident recommending Patti to anyone who is looking for a great companion.” ~ John and Wendy, Comox B.C.
“Cindy, our little ‘Ebony Angel’, just turned a year old and she is a real ray of sunshine around our house. She is so beautiful and smart, and her personality is such a joy. She loves to play with us and is also very creative about entertaining herself, especially with her favourite ball! She’s quite the little cuddler as well. I have had several poodles over the years, and find Cindy very healthy and unusually strong. One of the lovely things about having one of Patti’s toy poodles is that she boards them in her own home. Cindy loves to go back and see Patti and the other dogs she knew as a puppy, so we don’t feel guilty when we have to be away for awhile. What a special home and upbringing for a little poodle! People stop and ask me where I got Cindy, and I’m always delighted to tell them about Patti.”
“We went to Patti Vidalin’s looking for a black toy poodle. However we were delighted by a brown toy that she had planned to show. He had grown ½” too tall to be a show dog, her loss and our gain. He has settled in well, enjoys his walks around the Cedar Hill golf course and our neigbourhood (often off the lead, no worries about him running away of getting too far from us). He has acted as a therapy dog and been very popular with the patients. Patty was a pleasure to do business with, and we are very happy with Teddy.” ~ Tony and Shirley Blunt
“I purchased a 7 month old spayed female black toy poodle from Ebony Angels (Patti Vidalin) on April 25, 2009. My life has changed, all for the better. My little Angel has brought me so much happiness, it is hard to express.
She is intelligent, energized, sweet disposition and a great addition to my life. I could have called her Shadow as she follows me everywhere. She took to wearing a halter and leash for our walks without a second thought of “what is this lady doing to me?” When I come in from being out for some time she dances, her owner’s husband called her Spinner. She dances until I pick her up for a cuddle. Sometimes I think she is smiling at me. Also, big attribute……she is not yappy, yet she will bark at cats and raccoons.
Her house training took a few months of accidents now she uses a piddle pad or dances at the patio door or better still whines at the door to go out. Each night, before we settle down to sleep, we spend some quiet time in the garden watching the stars and moon. This gives her time for one last sniff of the patio and garden plus one last nature call if needed.
She may be small but she can certainly eat her supper quickly. No fusses. Here is your dinner and down it goes.
Angel goes to the groomer every 6 weeks, has all facets of her body checked, nails clipped, and groomed to look like the toy poodle she is and she gets a bow in her hair. She will never sit still long enough for me to get one in, so we have quite a collection of bows!
So, if you are thinking of purchasing a toy poodle, then Ebony Angels is the breeder for you.”
“Just a quick note to update you on the cutest dog in the world, yes I have been reduced to a sappy idiot! She moved in yesterday about 4pm and has behaved like she has always lived here. No crying just full of fun, last night she slept with her nose in my eye socket! We live on a landscaped acre in the rural district and Bella has already explored it a couple times. So relax she is in a great home , thanks for everything. I have to go kiss her now.” ~ John
“I got my little Rufus Bear from Patti Vidalin when he was 11 weeks old. I chose him because of his unusual colour – chocolate brown – and his friendly and playful nature. But I got a bonus: he turned out to be a very well-adjusted, sweet-natured and affectionate dog. Another bonus: because of the way he was raised in Patti’s home, he is not afraid of the vacuum cleaner, hair dryer, fireworks, thunder or any of the many noises encountered in daily living that scare some puppies. He adjusted very quickly to life with me and I can’t imagine being without him now. Even my cat loves him! Patti prepares home-cooked food without preservatives or chemicals for her dogs (and gave me the recipe so I do the same). Rufus is very much a one-person dog, but he soon settles back in with his original dog family when he goes to board at Patti’s while I’m away. In my opinion Patti Vidalin is an excellent breeder of toy poodles.” ~ Glenys Cameron, Victoria B.C.
“We bought our little one year old black toy poodle Maddie aka Madeline aka Ebony Angels Tea for Two when she was one year old, fully ‘potty trained’ and leash trained. She was truly our ‘little angel’ – 4 pounds of attitude and joy. She was brought to us by her breeder with one week’s worth of home made all natural dog food, her own faux fur puppy mat and a page of “care instructions”, as well as all of her medical records and registration papers. In the past 9 years, Patti Vidalin has always been available to give us advice, if asked, on the care of our adorable little Diva.” ~ Joyce
“It may be hard for some people to understand my feelings of gratitude for the wonderful gift of Susie Q. Yes I have had dogs but never such a precious, lovable, obedient, intelligent etc. little companion. A REAL TREASURE! I was pleased to know you are still raising puppies to bring joy to some lucky people. Wish you could see Susie Q asleep here on my desk – she never lets me out of her sight.” ~ Winnifred Hickman
